What is an effective communication strategy in your estate?
If you haven’t already noticed , residents in an Estate or Complex environment all like to be “heard” and they’ll go to any lengths to get their air-time. Heaven forbid you have an Estate WhatsApp group (well you probably do but have forgotten about it as it’s probably on silent by now) as this is the exact platform that lends itself to bleating about something in a public forum and riling up the troops.
Any of this ringing true? I’m sure we’ve all experienced at least one WhatsApp group that drives us all nuts and, although the technology is really sound and can be useful, that usefulness is often lost amongst the noise that crowds tend to create.
So what can you do to stop the noise?
Chances are your’re currently using some of the technology mentioned above as well as a mixture of SMS and Email thrown in there for good measure. The problem is that they simply don’t speak to each other and it’s incredibly difficult to make sense of any of the data across them.
A system which encompasses the best of all the technologies mentioned, but housed in a single platform, would be the obvious solution would it not? Hang on, is there really something out there like that? If so, I’m in!
